College Football Bowl Games in Phoenix

With Winter comes football, and colleges from around the country will be participating in this year’s Cheez-it and Fiesta Bowl being held in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. If you are a sports fanatic, these are not the events you will want to miss.

Cheez-It Bowl December 27th 8:15pm Local Time

This will be the 31st rendition of the bowl game, although only the second under the sponsorship of Cheez-Its. The teams have yet to be determined for the game. Teams eligible for the event will come from the PAC-12 and BIG-12 conferences.

It will be held at Chase Field which brings the interesting dynamic for fans and players alike of playing a football game on a Baseball field.

Last year’s contest between the University of California Berkeley and Texas Christian University was filled with turnovers and had a defensive-minded final score of 10-7 with the TCU horned frogs outlasting the Cal Bears.

Playstation Fiesta Bowl December 28th Time TBD

This year is the perfect time to attend the Playstation Fiesta Bowl. As part of the normal rotation, this year the Fiesta Bowl will host one of two college football semi-final games. With seeding still up in the air for another week, the teams that will play in this event are still to be determined.
